Daniel Dubidat went close to getting an equaliser five minutes later after Josh Webb got to the byline and pulled a ball back for the Pics forward on the edge of the box. Dubidat’s powerful shot was tipped over by keeper Elliot Taylor.

A nice move by the Ravens gave Cleveland Taylor the chance to double the lead on 18 minutes but the full back could only drag wide with his shot.

Taylor had to be at his best again to keep Rushall at bay in the 23rd minute when Gurjit Singh hooked a ball into the box for Joe Hull to flick on for Sam Whittall. The midfielder’s volley was well kept out low down by Taylor.

Coalville went down to 10 men on 26 minutes when Danny Jenno hauled Danny Waldron down with the Pics man through on goal.

Rushall made the one man advantage count on the half hour mark, when Hull got up highest to head home a Josh Hawker corner.

There was a save each from both keepers in the few minutes after the goal, with Taylor denying Dubidat with his legs and Matthew Hill tipping over a Nathan Watson effort.

The Pics took the lead shortly after half time when Singh cut inside from the left before working it inside the box and firing past Taylor low into the bottom corner.

The lead was doubled on 51 minutes when Lewis Archer was pulled down inside the box to see a penalty awarded. Waldron stepped up to send Taylor the wrong way to make it 1-3.

The Pics’ fourth came on 63 minutes when Waldron took the ball down the right before crossing. Taylor spilled the ball into the path of Dubidat, who gratefully tapped home into an empty net.

Simeon Maye made it five on 57 minutes, when he got on the end of a Josh Webb through ball to send a finish past Taylor into the back of the net.

Rushall had another penalty on 75 minutes. This time Simeon Maye was tripped inside the box but Taylor was able to deny Waldron with a good save down to his right.

The Ravens got a consolation on 79 minutes, after Dean Freeman saw his effort tipped over by Hill. The resulting corner was only half cleared and Jake Woolley was on hand to nod over the line when the ball was clipped back into the six yard box.
