Jarrett Rivers strike sinks Kidderminster Harriers

A goal eight minutes before the break condemned Kidderminster Harriers to a 1-0 National North defeat at Darlington last night.

Jarrett Rivers burst through the visiting defence and fired underneath the keeper to give the hosts a sixth straight success.

Harriers improved in the second half and went close to snatching a point in the dying seconds.

Sam Austin squared for Ollie Shenton and his effort seemed to be heading for the top corner but Liam Connell somehow got across his goal to make a fantastic save.
