The Harriers, who lost 3-0 to Rangers, are hoping to close the four-point gap to the play-off places.

Stafford will be hoping to build on that with their first league triumph of the season – they are on the road at Morpeth Town in the Northern Premier.

In the Southern Central Premier, second-placed Rushall Olympic will look to keep pace with Hednesford Town by beating fourth-bottom Lowestoft Town at Dales Lane.

“Lowestoft Town will offer us another challenge, but it is one that we are ready for,” said boss Liam McDonald. “All games at this level are tough and I expect them to come here with a game plan to make life difficult for us – we have worked hard on being able to break down such an approach in various different ways.

“The lads are playing with intelligence and an understanding that is serving us well at the moment.”

Stourbridge, who are also in the promotion mix, travel to Kings Langley.

The FA Trophy kicks off with extra preliminary round ties for Halesowen Town – away to Dereham Town – and Chasetown, who host Spalding United.
