Kidderminster Harriers unbeaten record of 16 league games was never in danger of being broken as the visitors controlled the game from start to finish to record only their fourth league victory away from Aggborough this season.

Second half goals from Ryan Croasdale and substitute George Waring lifted Harriers to fourth in the table ahead of a trip to Spennymoor on Saturday .

Harriers controlled proceedings after an early let off when Sam Walker’s free kick was met by Matt Regan only for his header to rebound from the crossbar.

Harriers got into their stride, James McQuilkin forced a flying save from Cameron Mason who then was alert to punch clear from the same player.

McQuilkin must have thought he had secured an opening goal only for his shot to rebound the wrong side of the goal-line from the underside of the bar. Curzon failed to clear the danger and when Lee Vaughan swept a right wing cross for Joe Ironside to connect with, it was the agility of the home keeper that denied a goal as he diverted the effort wide of the post.

Elton Ngwatala was next to suffer as Mason single-handedly kept Harriers at bay, the visitors striker seeing a fierce drive parried to safety.

Harriers broke the deadlock in the 49th minute, Mani Sonupe and McQuilkin combined down the right and Sonupe’s cut back was driven into the corner of the net by the Harriers captain, Ryan Croasdale.

The visitors continued their momentum towards goal, Joel Taylor and Joe Ironside both denied by the form of the home keeper.

On 74 minutes Curzon equalised, Harriers were unable to clear and despite having numbers in the box Dwyer’s right wing cross was converted by Jonathan Hunt.

Harriers substitutes Dan Bradley and George Waring were not to be denied and with ten minutes remaining they split open the defence and the striker side-stepped the keeper to net his second goal since joining on loan from Tranmere Rovers .
