John Eustace proud of Kidderminster Harriers despite heartbreak

Kidderminster Harriers boss John Eustace is ‘very proud’ of his squad despite their National League North play-off semi-final loss to Chorley.

Harriers were 1-0 up heading into yesterday’s second leg at Aggborough, but lost 2-0 on the day and 2-1 on aggregate.

“The supporters should be very proud of the team and the effort this season,” said Eustace.

“It’s been fantastic and two mistakes have cost us, but overall the club should be very proud of everyone here. It’s been a really good effort.

“(The) experience will do (the players) good. No-one likes to lose, especially at this stage of the season, but it’s all about getting experience and learning from it.”
