Kidderminster Harriers hope to stay in the hunt for top spot against Bradford Park Avenue

Kidderminster Harriers will look to keep up their chase for top spot as they head to the Horsfall Stadium to face Bradford Park Avenue.

John Eustace's charges are currently third in the National League North table with 37 points from 19 games – seven points off leaders AFC Fylde.

They have had three wins on the bounce, including a 3-1 triumph against Lincoln United in the FA Trophy last weekend.

Avenue are in the drop zone along with Stalybridge Celtic and Altrincham but a win could see them move up to 19th.

On tomorrow's game against lowly Avenue, Harriers shot-stopper Sam Hornby said: "We won't get carried away, our feet are on the ground and we take each game as it comes.

"It was nice after the disappointment of Blackpool (in the FA Cup) and Halifax, which seems a while away, to get three wins on the bounce and keep two clean sheets.

"It's good for the back four and the whole team really – we will keep going."

The man on loan from Championship side Burton Albion added: "At this time of year you don't look at the table because the league is tight from top to bottom so it probably doesn't reflect where Bradford should be as a team.

"They are a good team and we all know that."

Harriers season ticket holders will be able to enter for £5 if they present their ticket at the turnstile.

A provisional pitch inspection will be taking place at 8am tomorrow morning.
