Glover was the main man for the Pitmen last season, ending up as their top scorer after netting 27 times.

Lawrie also proved to be an attacking menace for Rob Smith’s side, chipping in with 13 goals.

Glover and Lawrie are the first signings of the summer for the Dabbers, who play in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier.

Glover, who played more than 150 games for the Keys Park club, broke through the ranks at Port Vale and has also played for Worcester City, Nuneaton Town, Bradford Park Avenue, Stockport County and AFC Telford United.

Lawrie also started out at Vale Park and has also been at Telford, Kidderminster Harriers and Altrincham.

He has three Northern Ireland caps too.

Hednesford are still waiting to find out whether they will be in the Northern Premier or the newly-formed Southern League Central next term.

They have made several new signings this summer including former Stourbridge pair Matt Dodd and Justin Richards, and ex-Stafford Rangers captain Josh Craddock.
