James Spray went close for Halesowen on 13 minutes when he beat the home defence but pulled the ball wide.

But Ryan Watson put Farsley in front after Daniel Platt could only parry his shot and Watson followed it up.

After hesitation in the Halesowen defence, Richard Marshall put Farsley two ahead on 31 minutes and that was the score at half time.

The pressure continued in the second half as Halesowen defender Jack Kelly cleared off the line and a corner was headed wide.

On 63 minutes the game potentially changed whenHalesowen's Daniel Udoh was brought down by Adam Clayton when he was through on goal and the latter received a straight red.

Halesowen's Lee Chilton took advantage of the extra man five minutes later when he sidefooted home a Cecil Nyoni cross.

Chilton also saw a free kick saved on 80 minutes, but any thoughts the Yeltz had of getting on level terms ended when James Walshaw got the third for Farsley to wrap the game up.
