Darrel Clarke’s men were pegged back by a late leveller in the first meeting at the Banks’s Stadium.

A late equaliser also denied Stour, after they came within minutes of knocking National League Premier outfit Eastleigh out of the competition on Saturday in a thrilling tie at the War Memorial Ground.

Ian Long’s team now travel to the south coast a week today for the rematch.

Stour, who boast a remarkable recent cup record, are looking to reach the second round of the competition for the fifth time in nine seasons. Crewe would become the fifth league club to visit Amblecote since 2009.

The second round ties are scheduled to take place on the weekend of November 29 to December 2.

n Hednesford Town, Halesowen Town and Stourbridge have all been handed home ties in the next round of the FA Trophy.

The Pitmen have been drawn against either Nantwich Town or Coalville Town, while the Yeltz will host Gateshead – now managed by former Wolves defender Mike Williamson – in the competition’s third qualifying round.

Stourbridge will take on South Shields, if they are able to overcome Lancaster City in their delayed second qualifying round game at the War Memorial Ground this evening.

Kidderminster Harriers have been drawn at Curzon Ashton.
