Stafford Rangers returned to winning ways as a Jack Charles netted a second half winner which saw them seal the points at North Ferriby United.

Win for Rangers

Rangers thought they had taken the lead early in the first half when Kyle Perry fired home but his effort was cancelled out by the off-side flag.

However, the Boro did have the lead with 20 minutes played through captain Sam Coulson who fired home from 20 yards out after the ball bounced in front of the goalkeeper and into the net give his side the lead.

United were level after 35 minutes when Luke Hinsley headed home an Eddie Bird cross to leave the score level at the break.

The Boro were once again on the front foot in the second half with substitute Jake Charles seeing his effort superbly saved from close range by Lewis Exall before Harry Benns sent his effort wide.

Rangers goalkeeper Adam Whitehouse was forced into action as the second half wore on and got his rewards when Charles fired home the winner against the run of play with eight minute remaining.
