Lancaster City 0 Stourbridge 0 - Report

Stourbridge salvaged a point from their long distance trip to lowly Lancaster where they had goalkeeper Matt Gould to thank for keeping their hosts at bay.

Wolves loanee Nicu Carnat rolled Stourbridge's best chance of the game wide of the post on 12 minutes but it was Lancaster who looked more likely to score.

Gould tipped a goalbound shot from Craig Carney over the bar just after the half hour mark and then a minute later turned another effort from Simon Wills around the post.

Carney should have broke the deadlock on 75 minutes when he mis-kicked a glorious chance from in front of goal but it was Gould to the rescue again with four minutes remaining, diving full stretch to keep out a dangerous shot from Ryan Winder.
