Stafford opened the scoring after a quiet start to the game courtesy of Levi Reid, who powered the ball into the bottom corner from 18 yards on 35 minutes after former Pics man Karl Hawley held the ball up well in the box.

The closest Rushall came to a goal in a scrappy first half was in the 42nd minute. Andre Landell, after a clever Richard Brodie through ball, raced through the middle before getting a left footed shot away just inside the area. Rangers keeper Adam Whitehouse did enough to parry his effort over the bar.

The Pics got their equaliser on 68 minutes thanks to a superb Danny Waldron effort. With no other options, the Rushall wide man lined up a shot and picked out the top corner from 30 yards out.

Andre Landell completed the turnaround two minutes later when he slid home a precise effort from the edge of the area after some more good work down the left by Waldron.

The Pics added to their lead on 78 minutes after a mix up in the Stafford defence. Waldron was on hand to outstrength a Rangers defender and tap home into an empty net to make it 1-3.

The hosts pulled a goal back on 87 minutes after Jahquil Hill couldn't clear a high ball into the area. Kieren Westwood was placed perfectly to prod the loose ball into the bottom corner.
