Aston Villa dealt huge Jack Grealish blow
Aston Villa have been dealt a huge blow after captain Jack Grealish was ruled out of Sunday’s Premier League match against Leicester through injury.
The 25-year-old is also likely to miss next weekend’s trip to Leeds due to a shin injury sustained during training this week.
It is the first time Grealish has missed a Premier League fixture since Villa’s 2-1 defeat to Wolves in November 2019.
The skipper was replaced in Villa’s line-up by winger Anwar El Ghazi for the visit of the Foxes.
Ahmed Elmohamady also came into the team at right-back in place of Matty Cash, who missed out with a hamstring injury.
