Wolves

Wolves have signed Ghana international defender Phil Ofosu-Ayeh on a three-year-deal

The 25-year-old joins on a free transfer after spending the last two seasons at German Bundesliga 2 club (second division) Eintracht Braunschweig.

Meanwhile duo Jed Wallace and George Saville appear to have played their last games for the club with reports suggesting the midfielders have both signed for newly promoted Millwall.

Stevenage have beat off widespread competition from a number of Football League clubs including Wolves to land the highly rated non-league striker Danny Newton.

West Brom

West Brom and Newcastle will battle it out to sign £20m rated James McCarthy from Everton.

Albion have reportedly re-kindled their interest in Southampton striker Jay Rodriguez.

The Southampton forward is thought to be allowed to leave St Mary's this summer, and Albion are reportedly in talks with the club to hash out a £12m deal.

Aston Villa

Aston Villa are one of the clubs interested in signing Dutch striker Tom Boere from FC Oss.

The 24-year-old was in prolific goalscoring form in the Dutch second tier last season scoring 33 goals in 38 games.

Walsall

Boss Jon Whitney says he is confident Walsall will unveil two new signings later this week

The 46-year-old revealed contracts have been agreed with a goalkeeper and a centre-back with the deals set to be announced once the players have completed their medicals.
