Shay Given, Kieran Richardson, Jores Okore and Aly Cissoko all came through today's training session ahead of Saturday's Wembley teatime showdown with Arsenal.

Goalkeeper Given and left-back Cissokho had groin injuries, left-sided player Richardson was troubled by a calf complaint and defender Okore had a knee problem.

Boss Tim Sherwood said: "Shay trained today so we're hopeful he'll be alright. But the nature of this club is you can't hold your breath.

"We're training tomorrow so we're likely to lose two or three! I've not yet made my decision on the keeper. Come back tomorrow and I'll tell you then.

"Kieran trained today. Cissokho is fit. Okore trained for the first time today. If everyone's fit, we could play the same team as the semi-finals."

Given, 39, who has played all of Villa's FA Cup ties this season, missed last Sunday's final Premier League game of the season against Burnley.

Sherwood handed a top-flight debut to third choice Jed Steer with Brad Guzan on the bench.
