Britannia boys rule

They came out on top of a semi-final clash with fellow Kidderminster League Division One side Waggon and Horses.

Britannia were the dominant side in the opening 45 minutes and should have been well ahead by the break.

But, after squandering a number of opportunities, they went in just one goal to the good thanks to a well-taken free-kick from Andrew Lee Mills.

The second half saw Wagon and Horses come back into the clash, but their failure to take their chances proved costly and it was Britannia who clinched the win with a second goal from Stephen Holmes.

Britannia will now take on Kidderminster League Division Two side Side Pockets in the final at Dudley Sports FC on Friday, March 15 (7.30pm).
