Russell Athletic sink Ashmore

Hot-shots Gavin Gilchrist and Kieron Russell combined to fire Russell Athletic into the semi-finals of the Wolverhampton Sunday League’s Ken Pemberton Cup.

Ashmore had no answer to the duo with Gilchrist finding the net four times and Russell bagging a hat-trick as Athletic won 8-0. Ant Platow joined them on the scoresheet.
