Wolves

Rafa Benitez could be set to beat Wolves to the signing of Salomon Rondon this summer, with the new Dalian Yifang boss keen on a reunion in the far east.

Despite the Spaniard having departed Newcastle, the manager is still eager to sign Rondon according to reports.

West Ham have also been credited with an interest, although no club has triggered the striker's £16.5m release clause yet.

Wolves have reportedly approached Saint-Etienne regarding defender William Saliba.

The 18-year-old centre back is reportedly subject of a bid from Arsenal, although Roma are also thought to be keen.

Nuno has been linked with a new centre back this summer as the club look to bolster for European football.

West Brom

Former West Brom youngster Louie Barry has reportedly decided on a deal with Barcelona.

The young prospect was highly rated at The Hawthorns, but decided against signing a professional deal with the club, with PSG and the Spanish giants circling.

Reports suggest the English starlet had a medical in Paris before changing his mind and opting for Barcelona.

West Brom are reportedly involved in a three-way tussle for Brentford forward Romaine Sawyers.

Reports north of the border have linked Albion with their former player, who departed the club in 2013 for Walsall.

Celtic have reportedly had a £1.5m bid turned down by the Bees.

Aston Villa

Reports claim that Villa's impending deal to sign Tyrone Mings on a permanent deal will not deter their pursuit of Adam Webster this summer.

Mings is set to join Villa in the coming days, but the club are also reportedly keen on the Bristol City defender too.

It's thought that Villa are hopeful of negotiating a fee of around £20m-£25m for the 24-year-old.

Reports also suggest that Aston Villa have ended their interest in Stoke City goalkeeper Jack Butland due to their unwillingness to meet the Potters' £25m valuation.

Villa had been tipped for a move for the England stopper regularly in recent weeks, with Stoke accepting that his departure is likely.

Dean Smith already has Jed Steer tied down to a new deal, whilst Lovre Kalinic and Orjan Nyland are also on the books at Villa Park.

Walsall

Walsall boss Darrell Clarke is keen on bringing in some more new signings ahead of the Saddlers pre-season trip to Poland.

The Saddlers are preparing for life in League Two having brought in Clarke as well as a collection of new signings.

Clarke is eager to add more to his ranks however, with wingers and centre backs a priority.

Meanwhile, Morgan Ferrier's omission from Walsall's first friendly squad has sparked rumours of a potential exit from the Banks's Stadium.

Ferrier turned down the chance to leave Walsall in January, but couldn't help guide the club to safety last season.

The forward notched six goals for the club last season.
