West Brom

West Brom continue to be linked with a move for Newcastle midfielder Isaac Hayden.

Albion are reportedly battling Aston Villa for the want away player, who is keen to move for family reasons.

It's thought that Rafa Benitez is unwilling to let him leave until a viable replacement is found, with Hayden likely to feature prominently in the coming weeks due to injury and international requirements in the Magpies' midfield.

Huddersfield are reportedly set to beat the Baggies to the signing of Karlan Grant.

The Terriers are supposedly closing in on a £2m move for the promising attacker, who's netted 14 goals in League One so far this season.

Fellow Championship side Middlesbrough had also been reportedly interested in the Charlton man.

Aston Villa

Aston Villa are reportedly battling the likes of Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United for the signing of Turkish starlet Omer Faruk Beyaz.

Reports claim that Villa have scouted the 15-year-old, who's tipped with some to become one of the brightest talents in Europe.

He currently plays for Fenerbahce, but reports suggest that if a suitable bid arrives for him that the club will be willing to sell.

Meanwhile, Jordan Mutch could be set for a shock move to South Korea - despite having trained with Villa this month.

Reports claim that Gyeongnam are set to snap up the former Palace man who's free to join another club having left Selhurst Park recently.

B6 was a reported potential destination for the 27-year-old.

Walsall

Walsall boss Dean Keates is optimistic about bringing another striker in soon to ease the goalscoring burden on Andy Cook.

Cook has been in sparkling form of late, but Keates is keen to assist him with a new signing.

The manager admitted that one or two signings in forward positions could happen before the window slams shut in a week's time.
