Wolves

Wolves have joined Aston Villa and Watford in the race to sign former Atletico Madrid and Villarreal midfielder Gabriel Kunda Jr.

The 24-year-old has been touted as a future world star, but has failed to live up to potential with various injuries and disciplinary issues halting his progress.

Birmingham City are also interested in the free agent, but Wolves and Villa remain favourites to land the Zambian playmaker.

West Ham are preparing to send 21-year-old striker Ashley Fletcher out on a season-long loan as a result of Javier Hernandez’s imminent arrival at the London Stadium.

Leeds, Middlesbrough, Reading and Wolves are believed to be the leading contenders.

Wolves are thin in attack following Jon Dadi Bodvarsson's £3m transfer to Reading.

West Brom

West Brom are preparing a £10m bid for Manchester United's Chris Smalling.

The 27-year-old is expected to lose his starting spot in the United team following the signing of Victor Lindelof.

Tony Pulis is very keen on adding 27-year-old French international Moussa Sissoko to his ranks at the Hawthorns.

Sissoko made a deadline day switch to Spurs last summer after his Euros 2016 brilliance caught the eye of manager Mauricio Pochettino.

Aston Villa

Sunderland have been linked with a move for Aston Villa striker Ross McCormack.

The Black Cats are looking to rebuild following relegation from the Premier League last season.

Steve Bruce is willing to listen to offers for McCormack - and Sunderland are believed to be frontrunners for his signature.

The 30-year-old Scot joined Villa from Fulham last summer in a £12m deal.

Nottingham Forest have been linked with a move to bring back Gary Gardner to the City Ground for a third time.

The Aston Villa midfielder has twice enjoyed loan spells with Forest, but signed a contract extension at Villa Park last December
