We're not saying that they're true, just that they're out there.

Wolves

Nuno Espirito Santo should make a move for free agent Marvin Emnes, following the striker's Swansea exit.

Wolves are notably short of goal scorers following Jon Dadi Bodvarsson's departure, but are unlikely to spend a high amount following the £15m deal for Ruben Neves earlier this month.

Emnes could prove a cheap option as the 29-year-old won't require a fee, although fans may be hopeful of a more prolific forward joining the club instead.

One link which has been silenced is that of Alvaro Negredo, who isn't set for a move to Molineux.

Reports yesterday suggested that the Spanish forward could head to Wolves, with some bookies having the club as second favourites to secure his services.

However now it seems that his £100,000-a-week wages would scupper any possible deal.

West Brom

Reported West Brom target Fabian Delph is closing in on a move to Stoke City.

Albion were credited with an interest in the former Aston Villa captain, who has seen his career stall since heading to the Etihad.

Despite having three years left on his current deal, City seem happy to move the England international on for as little as £10m.

Meanwhile, Albion are supposedly keen on a move for Nottingham Forest's Joe Worrall.

The 20-year-old has been a bright spark since breaking into Forest's first-team, triggering interest in the centre-back this summer.

Tony Pulis has previously stated his desire to improve the spine of his team, although Worrall may be considered one for the future if he heads to The Hawthorns.

Aston Villa

Everton boss Ronald Koeman is unlikely to let Gareth Barry leave Goodison Park this summer.

The former Villa captain was linked with a move back to B6 in what would be a much-loved reunion between player and club.

However, Koeman is reluctant to let him leave, also disappointing the likes of West Brom who were also thought to be keen on the veteran midfielder.

Also, St. Etienne's deal for Jordan Veretout may be scuppered, as Fiorentina made a late move to secure the Frenchman.

Reports suggest that the Italian side have offered £6.2m for the 24-year-old, who had to delay his medical with Les Verts following the bid.

The international midfielder seems destined for an exit as Villa look to shift a number of players this summer.

Walsall

No Walsall rumours today.
