Lennox Clarke back to best with convincing win

Lennox Clarke has had a frustrating 2018 but got a much needed win over the experienced Elvis Dube.

Injury and illness has hampered the unbeaten Halesowen super middleweight’s year but he blew the cobwebs off taking a shutout 40-36 victory at Walsall FC’s Banks’s Stadium.

The former white collar star barely took a punch from the cautious Dube.

A long awaited showdown with Darryll Williams could be on the radar in the New Year as the big punching 27 year-old sets his sights on the English title.

Burntwood’s Troi Coleman completed an unbeaten first year in the paid ranks with a slugfest against the seasoned Kevin McCauley. The former kick boxer showed a willingness to take a shot to get his own off and took a deserved 39-37 decision.

West Bromwich’s Tom Stokes recorded a solid 40-36 points win over Lewis Van Poetsch.
