Tividale’s Ryan Stewart Davies will face his toughest test to date when he takes on Stafford’s Rob Hunt for the British Challenge Welterweight Title.

Davies lifted the strap in his last outing – a points victory over MJ Hall in Dudley – to claim his first professional boxing belt since switching disciplines from kickboxing.

The 25 year-old (5-0) will defend his strap against the vastly-experienced Hunt (24-5-2) on BCB Promotions’ Danger Zone show at King’s Hall, Stoke, on Friday, July 13.

“This is my toughest test to date,” admitted Davies. “Hunt is an experienced guy who has only lost five times but this is what I’m in the game for; to test myself and move forward.”

Joining Davies on the bill is a host of undefeated fighters – British Challenge Cruiserweight champion Luke Caci, Stoke middleweight Nathan Heaney, Burton featherweight Leon Gower and Swadlincote duo Ross Hollis and Connor Parker.
