Walsall picked up a 3-0 win against Eastleigh in the FA Cup (Owen Russell)

Myles Roberts – Solid: 7

Made an important save from Saunders and McGuckin in the first half but wasn’t really tested after that.

Evan Weir – Vital: 8

Bundled the ball home in the sixth minute to get the ball rolling and followed it up in the second half with a pinpoint pass down the left to find Daniel Kanu for the second. Bar an early mix-up with Flint, completed all defensive duties diligently.

Aden Flint – Grew: 7

A couple of near mishaps in the first half, but following this was a towering unit at the heart of the back three.

Rico Browne – Solid: 7

Did not have an awful lot to do following Eastleigh’s spell after the opening goal, and equally didn’t put a foot wrong.
