West Brom boss Ryan Mason is busy preparing for the return of his side for their pre-season campaign.

After a summer break the Baggies will soon return for pre-season training ahead of a string of friendly fixtures.

They have already announced clashes against Lincoln and Blackpool - with more set to be revealed in the coming weeks.

Mason will hope to have new faces on show, but he will be without one of Albion's key players for five of those warm up fixtures.

In Albion's last pre-season, they hit the headlines after Jayson Molumby was involved in an incident in a behind closed doors friendly against Real Mallorca.

During the game at Albion's training base, the Republic of Ireland international was seen in footage hitting Samu Costa following a tackle.

The two clashed and were pulled apart by their team mates.

He was not sent off but was taken off at half time, before the FA investigated the incident.

Molumby was fined £16,000 for his troubles, and was banned for five friendly matches for his misconduct.

The midfielder did feature in the final pre-season game last season against Birmingham, prior to his ban being handed out.

It means Albion's first friendly since the dismissal will be this summer - meaning the midfielder is set to miss five games.
