With each journey calculated from the Bescot Stadium, the Saddlers will clock 320 miles less than they did in the previous campaign (5,230) across the regular campaign.
That figure increased to 5,823 miles when including Walsall's domestic cup and play-off fixtures, with 17,003 fans making the 240-mile round trip to witness their 1-0 defeat against AFC Wimbledon at Wembley last week.
Defeat in the play-off final has consigned Walsall to a seventh successive season in the EFL's basement division, after they blew a 12-point lead at the League Two summit at the end of January to miss out on promotion altogether.
