Last week's defeat to Derby cost Tony Mowbray his job and left Albion six points off the play-off pack with two games to play.

James Morrison takes the hot seat on an interim basis until the end of the campaign - and looks set to have a near fully fit squad to choose from.

Here is a run down of the players who are out and players he welcomes back to the Albion squad.

Josh Maja

It was hoped the striker would be fit and available to return for the run in towards the play-offs, but after the recent slip down the league outgoing boss Tony Mowbray insisted he wouldn't be risked.

However, in the latest update from Morrison on Friday morning, he stated Maja has continued to step up his recovery in training.

This week looks like it will come too soon and he won't play a part in Cardiff, however he could potentially see a cameo on the final day of the season against Luton.

Semi Ajayi

The defender has had rotten luck in what looks likely to be his final season at the club.

An injury earlier in the campaign was followed by another hamstring injury back in February against Oxford.

He has been making progress in training and he will be in contention for selection tomorrow.

Tammer Bany

Bany is another who has been in and out of the squad in recent weeks, having picked up two injuries since signing from Randers in January.

He is now fit and has been back in full training, and looks set to take his place in the squad on Saturday.
