Styles, 24, moved to The Hawthorns from League One Barnsley last summer on a four-year deal as then boss Carlos Corberan billed his versatility as key for the season ahead.
The Bury-born utility man has found a home at left-back for the Baggies, though, under Corberan and now Tony Mowbray having broken in as a regular in November.
Styles has not featured for his adopted nation Hungary - his grandmother was Hungarian - since last summer's European Championship. The three international periods since, in September, October and November, saw Styles yet to find a place for his new club.
But the likeable, diminutive full-back's form since has seen him become an immediate favourite among Baggies supporters and has earned a recall to Italian boss Marco Rossi's Magyars squad for this month's key Nations League play-offs.
He has now clocked up 27 appearances for Albion this term, 21 of them starts in the Championship and can add to 23 caps for his nation.
Styles and Hungary face a two-legged relegation play-off against Turkey, first away on Thursday week before a Puskas Arena return that Sunday. A new era of Hungarian football, featuring Premier League stars Dominik Szoboszlai and Milos Kerkez, saw the Magyars impress to qualify for the Euros last year.
Styles had Championship experience with Barnsley, as well as on loan at Millwall and Sunderland, but his undisclosed fee signing - thought to be for a relatively modest six-figures - looks like another coup for Albion owners Bilkul.
Also confirmed for international duty this month is attacker Grady Diangana with DR Congo.
Diangana can add to six caps for the African nation in upcoming World Cup qualifiers against South Sudan and Mauritania in the coming weeks in a bid to reach next summer's showpiece in Canada, USA and Mexico.
January signing Isaac Price has been handed another call for Northern Ireland. The midfielder has been in fine form since moving to The Hawthorns and can add to his 18 caps for the country his netted a hat-trick for this season and already has six goals.
Others in the running for a call for their nations are Torbjorn Heggem with Norway, the Republic of Ireland's Mikey Johnston and Jayson Molumby, as well as Mason Holgate, of Jamaica, and Mali's Ousmane Diakite.
Tom Fellows could also receive an England under-21s call for their two fixtures, including a home clash against Portugal at The Hawthorns on March 24, for which tickets are selling well.
Players will head out on duty after Saturday's home clash against Hull.
