The 30-year-old went down in the 55th-minute and was unable to play any further part as the Saddlers extended their winless run to five games in League Two.

Gordon has only recently returned from a long-term hamstring problem, which kept him out for over four months, but Sadler is hopeful it won't prove to be a serious issue.

He said: "Josh has got a scan. Obviously he came off the other day (against Gillingham), we're hopeful that it's alright but we don't know.

"What has previously happened with his hamstring, we've just got to be careful and cautious with that.
