The draw with Spurs proved there is still work to do, but the squad are once again fighting for each other, the fans and the head coach as Wolves continue their upwards trajectory.

Across the board, the club have reasons to be positive and areas to improve ahead of a big 2025.

Goalkeeper dilemma

Vitor Pereira has done the right thing in his opening three games - pick a number one goalkeeper and stick with him.

The constant switching between Jose Sa and Sam Johnstone under Gary O'Neil was helping no-one and although both shot-stoppers have their pros and cons, starting Sa is the correct decision.

Before the Spurs clash, Wolves had conceded each of the last 15 penalties against them since Sa saved against Nottingham Forest in October 2022, so the save to deny Heung-min Son at the weekend was a long time coming.

Sa made a few errors and still looks uncomfortable with the ball at his feet, but he has looked more solid in general under Pereira.
