Gary O'Neil insists his young Wolves team is still learning but has called for improved decision-making in the key moments.

Wolves are still winless after 10 Premier League games this season following their 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace, in which they conceded two poor goals.

The club had a difficult end to the transfer window, failing to replace defender Max Kilman, and O'Neil believes Wolves are still reeling from their youthful transfer policy.

"You go back to the summer and when we're looking for a centre-back, we can't sign Premier League centre-backs because we're not in the market for that," the head coach said.

"It's the same as all the other players that we sign. We're not out cherry-picking Premier League players that have played 200 games.

"We're signing young players from different leagues that we're trying to work with and trying to make sure we get them ready.
