With all of professional European sport on an indefinite hiatus, athletes from around the continent have been finding novel ways to keep themselves fit and entertained during the forced postponement.

1. Joao Moutinho

Wolves ace Joao Moutinho is creating his own entertainment during the current lockdown.

The Portuguese international posted a humorous video on his facebook page, giving his family rides in an antique wheelbarrow.

The 33-year-old firstly pushes his two daughters Victoria and Lara at a rate of knots, before giving wife Ana a high-speed 'rollercoaster experience' down the hill.

Who said you need to be at Universal Studios for thrills and spills? All this while the midfield maestro gets some valuable cardio - everyone wins!

2. Robin van Persie

Robin van Persie and his 13-year-old son have shown off their amazing synchronised dribbling routine during the coronavirus lockdown.

The former Manchester United and Arsenal ace and son Shaqueel wowed fans with their fast footwork on Instagram.

The Dutch ace and his son can be seen embarking on their slick, rehearsed routine on an all-weather pitch in his garden.

The pair mostly managed to stay in time with Shaqueel just about keeping up with his old man.

3. Sergio Ramos and Ajax

Sergio Ramos

The current lockdown does not mean the odd twitter spat can't still take place.

Ajax tweeted two images on their official handle. The first shows Madrid captain Sergio Ramos infuriated from the stands, while in the second image, Ajax's Dusan Tadic attempts to mock Ramos.

Ramos seemingly could not hold himself back after the tweet and decided to respond in the most hilarious way possible.

The 34-year-old replied with images of him winning Champions League titles over the years - mic drop!

4. Memphis Depay

Depay with liger

Memphis Depay brought all his inner Tiger King as he posed with a liger and showed off a big cat tattoo on his entire back.

The former Manchester United ace enjoyed a wild day in lockdown posting pictures cuddled up to the exotic creature on his Instagram amid the coronavirus crisis.

And while most of us have been sat on the sofa binge watching the new controversial Netflix show, Depay decided to bring a real big cat into his own home.

He cosied up to a liger - a cross between a tiger and lion - and posted the elaborate pictures on Instagram.
