Bellator Birmingham will be headlined by an exciting lightweight bout between former Bellator world champion Brent Primus and Cannock-based Tim ‘The Experiment’ Wilde and will be the second instalment of six scheduled Bellator European Fight Series events set to take place throughout the UK and Europe in 2019.

Wilde who joins Bellator MMA from Golden Ticket Fight Promotions, is currently enjoying a three-fight win streak and will be looking to make that four on the bounce when he steps into the Bellator cage for the first time.

Joining Wilde on the card is hometown hero, Fabian Edwards.

The 25-year-old (6-0) will be fighting in Birmingham for the first time since turning professional and another win against Portugal’s Falco ‘Telelo’ Neto Lopes (11-9) will further cement his status as a rising contender in Bellator’s middleweight division.

Edwards will put his undefeated professional record on the line when he makes his second appearance of 2019 at Bellator Birmingham. Edwards, who trains at Team Renegade in Birmingham, made it two wins in two outings for the promotion at Bellator Newcastle: Pitbull vs. Scope in February, following a unanimous decision victory against veteran fighter Lee Chadwick.

Bellator Birmingham is expected to sell out, with thousands of passionate fans set to create an electric atmosphere inside the Resorts World Arena.
