Wolves

Over in Italy, the idea of Jorge Mendes bringing AC Milan’s André Silva to Wolves appears to be growing.

The Portuguese forward has had a terrible first season with his new club, scoring just two goals in the league.

And it appears AC Milan are willing to cut their losses just a year later, if they can get most of their initial investment back.

Wolves' hopes of signing Anderson Talisca have been enhanced after frontrunners Besiktas pulled out of a deal.

Talisca is a long term target for Wolves and the club are still interested in signing the Brazilian.

Besiktas are no longer able to afford the 21 million Euro (£18.3m) purchase clause as the terms of their loan deal state.

West Brom

Arsenal are looking to sign West Brom defender Jonny Evans plus two other centre-backs in an attempt to strengthen a leaky backline.

The Gunners have conceded over 50 goals this season and with their first choice centre-back Laurent Koscielny now injured for the long-term, defensive recruits this summer are vital.

Due to a relegation clause in the former Manchester United man’s contract, he is now available for a cut-price fee of £3 million, making it a particularly viable deal for a club the size of Arsenal.

Aston Villa

Preston North End right-back Darnell Fisher could be set to replace Alan Hutton this summer.

The Englishman’s current contract still has two years left but Preston are prepared to offer the young defender a year extension and pay-rise to ward away any suitors

But the potential of Premier League football may prove too tempting for the 24-year-old to turn down.

Walsall

All quiet at the Banks's today
