We are not saying they are true – just that they are out there.

Wolves

Former Wigan Athletic and Fulham striker Hugo Rodallega, who is reportedly interesting Queens Park Rangers, could also be a target for Wolves

The 31-year-old Colombian is currently plying his trade in Turkey with Super Lig outfit Akhisar Belediyespor, but his contract is due to expire in the summer.

He has enjoyed a successful spell in Turkey, scoring 23 goals in 50 league outings for his club, and his movement along with his prolific nature in front of goal would provide Wolves with a much needed boost, as they head into the second half of their campaign.

West Brom

West Bromwich Albion could be a likely destination for Everton midfielder Tom Cleverley during the current transfer window.

The former England international has struggled for game time since Ronald Koeman took charge at Goodison Park, and with just 10 league appearances this season, totally only 402 minutes of football, it would be no surprise to see the 27-year-old move on.

Other former United players have blossomed at West Brom and Cleverley would be hoping to follow in the footsteps of Darren Fletcher and Jonny Evans if he does arrive at The Hawthorns in the coming weeks.

Aston Villa

Aston Villa's move for Middlesbrough striker Jordan Rhodes is being held up because of the player's wages.

Rhodes is out-of-favour at Middlesbrough and has made only six Premier League appearances so far this season. Aston Villa are looking to win promotion to the Premier League and Rhodes, already proven at Championship level, could be a vital asset.

Walsall

Scott Laird will meet with Scunthorpe today to sort out his future – with Walsall anxiously waiting to see if they can keep the popular left-back.

The 28-year-old has made a big impression at the Banks's Stadium since joining on loan from the Iron back in August. Laird has scored three goals in 22 appearances for Jon Whitney's side.
