We are not saying they are true – just that they are out there.
Wolves are apparently losing out to Championship rivals Leeds United in their efforts to land Manchester United striker Ashley Fletcher on loan.
Their league cohorts are queuing up to take the 20-year-old, including his last loan club Barnsley. Bristol City have also been linked to him.
But Leeds owner Massimo Cellino is thought to have stolen a march, by agreeing to meet the player's £7,000-per-week wage demands and pay a compensation fee.
Fletcher wants to try and emulate Marcus Rashford's breakthrough to the first-team at United, but will agree that immediate football elsewhere is an alternative.
WEST BROM-ASTON VILLA
West Brom and Aston Villa are just two of the sides credited with an interest in highly-rated Reading youngster Aaron Tshibola.
Crystal Palace join the Baggies as a possible Premier League move, while Norwich City join Villa as a Championship destination.
Scottish giants Glasgow Celtic are also keen on the 21-year-old midfielder, with Reading starting a new era under incoming boss Jaap Stam.
Tshibola has another year left on his deal with the Royals who, would even then, be entitled to a compensation. Bids upward of £2million are expected.
Walsall right-back Jason Demetriou and striker Milan Lalkovic are both expected to sign elsewhere soon after rejecting new deals at the Banks's Stadium.
Demetriou is close to agreeing a switch to League One rivals Southend United, while Lalkovic is tight-lipped on his destination. It will be in England, though.
