Wolves head into today's 3pm kick-off on the back of a six-game winning streak and a 3-0 win over Brentford allowed Wolves to overtake their promotion rivals in the League One table. Leon Clarke is still out for Wolves as they look for their seventh league win in a row. The club record stands at eight so a Wolves victory over Port Vale will keep them on course for the record books. port Vale currently sit 10th in the league on 43 points. The Vale Park outfit have failed to win in their last three games, picking up just one point.

Walsall travel to fellow promotion contenders Preston today. Preston have lost just four times this season but have picked up 13 draws so far. Of the top 10 in the league one other side has more than 10 draws at this stage: Walsall. The Saddlers head into this game on a four match winless run stretching back to their 5-1 victory over Notts County. However, they earned a valuable point against promotion rivals Peterborough at London Road on Valentine's Day. Victory for Dean Smith's side will take them closer to sixth but cannot enter the play-offs as Peterborough are currently five points ahead.
