Death stuns Saddlers

The former Saddlers defender fell to the ground after 20 minutes of Hinckley's match at Harrogate on Saturday and was pronounced dead in hospital.

Flags at Bescot Stadium were today lowered to half mast as Walsall paid tribute to the player who was involved in the Division Two play-off final victory over Reading in 2001.
