In its most recent assessment from the Quality Assurance Agency – the university equivalent of Ofsted – the University received a commendation for ‘the enhancement of student learning opportunities’.
It also achieved its best ever results in the most recent Research Excellence Framework – which independently assesses the quality of research conducted at universities – all 14 Research Centres put forward had elements rated as ‘world-leading’, recognizing the impact of their work in the real world.
