Ike Yorke
We were sorry to hear of the loss of one of our regular standard bearers, Ike Yorke.

Ike was bearer for the Bilston branch of the Royal British Legion for several years. He took a pride in his appearance and always knew what was expected of him and helped others who were less experienced.
The Remembrance Sunday parades in Bilston will not be the same without him leading the march.
As Secretary of the Wolverhampton United Ex-service Council I will miss his smile at services we attend, as will the standard bearers who have shared so many events with him.
