LETTER: The Prime Minister is running scared

A reader says Boris Johnson's rise to power shows anything is possible.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson

As I have said a number of times I am 77 and being very honest I wish that Boris Johnson had been PM when I was a lad.

That would have shown me that no matter what your ability anyone could become PM and it would also mean that he wasn't PM now.

He won't be rigorously interviewed, he is frightened of being taken to task by the general public and he says nothing meaningful.

The only man of action about him is that he is a man on the run.
