LETTER: Bring on the Western Orbital route
Western Orbital Route: It’s about time this proposed road is put back on the agenda.

It should have been built 20 years ago.
I know a lot of people will be against bringing this back, but look at the congestion on our roads now.
Peak time traffic on local A-roads and beyond are snarled up.
The MP for Staffordshire doesn’t want it brought back claiming it will cut up the countryside in Staffordshire.
Well if the cars, lorries, coaches, etc, are to increase like they have done over the last 20 years then it makes sense to rethink the Western Orbital Route.
You can’t have it both ways. Look at HS2. We didn’t have a say to this proposal. No I say bring it on. The sooner the better.
