Is Mrs May listening?

Are you listening to the people Theresa May?

Published
Theresa May

Have you listened to the plight of our overworked, under staffed, under paid public sector workers? Have you watched on TV the bombings, the stabbings, the tube train disasters, the Grenfell horror?

Have you visited these horrific scenes to offer support? Have you listened to the harrowing accounts of firemen who had to watched people die before them? The police engaged in terrorism risking their lives? Paramedics, ambulance men and women, and let’s not forget those overworked doctors and nurses working the clock round to treat these people.

Are you listening Theresa May when you reward corrupt bankers who nearly bankrupted this country a few years ago, who were rewarded with handsome bonuses and pay rises, only for us to pay for their failures with our taxes?

Are you listening Mrs May when we hear of nurses and doctors leaving their profession in droves, and you deplete our overworked police force by 12,000 jobs? Are you listening Theresa when you give these ‘heroes’ a piddling one per cent pay rise and you lot get 10? Are you listening Theresa May when you look at your lovely well paid job along with your ‘cronies’ and check your bank accounts?

Are you listening Mrs May? I doubt it. As for you Jeremy Corbyn, you’re next on my list.
