Man charged with controlling prostitution

A man has been charged with controlling prostitution for gain and trafficking within the UK for exploitation.

The move follows an arrest in London on Monday by detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland’s (PSNI’s) anti-modern slavery unit.

The 55-year-old is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates’ Court this morning and the charges will be reviewed by prosecutors.
