Woman who died in crash near Donald Trump’s north-east golf course named

A woman who died in a car crash near Donald Trump’s golf course in Aberdeenshire has been named.

Casey Rodger, 38, of Balmedie, was the only person inside the black Volkswagen Golf.

The one-vehicle crash took place on the A90 at the entrance to Trump International Links at Menie Estate at around 3pm on Saturday.

Road Policing Sergeant Stuart Lawrence said: “My thoughts remain with the family and friends of the woman who has sadly died.

“I would ask anyone who witnessed the collision or saw the vehicle involved travelling on the road prior to the incident to contact Police Scotland on 101 using reference number 2294 of October 20.”
