In Pictures: Commonwealth leaders gather for state dinner

The Queen hosted a state dinner for the leaders and foreign ministers of 53 Commonwealth nations.

They gathered at Buckingham Palace, along with other members of the royal family, including Prince Charles, and his sons William and Harry, and Prince Andrew, and his daughters Beatrice and Eugenie.

The event was held in the Picture Gallery at the palace after the guests had gathered in the Blue Drawing Room.
