Man charged with 2007 double murder

Scotland Yard said Gonzalo Andres Gomez Remolina is to appear in custody at London’s Westminster Magistrates Court on Friday.

A man has been charged with the double murder of two men who were stabbed to death 10 years ago.

Gonzalo Andres Gomez Remolina, 35, has been charged with the murders of Colombian Carlos Ayala-Cormona, 28, and Ruben Furente, 30, of Spain, in June 2007.

Scotland Yard said he is to appear in custody at London’s Westminster Magistrates Court on Friday.

The victims were found with stab wounds at an address at Muller Road in Clapham, south west London, on June 5, 2007 and died in hospital.
