Delays on M54 near Wolverhampton after six-vehicle crash
Delays of up to 60 minutes are being reported following a crash on the M54 near Cosford.
National Highways West Midlands had earlier warned of delays of up to an hour following a crash on the M54, between Junction 3 at Cosford and Junction 2 for Wolverhampton.
The Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said it had been alerted to a crash involving six vehicles at around 7.09am today (Monday).
It said that three fire crews were sent to the scene.
Highway officers were on the scene and attempting to move the vehicles to the hard shoulder.

National Highways West Midlands said on X: "There are 60-minute delays on the M54 J3 to J2 eastbound due to a collision.
"Traffic officers are on scene attempting to move the vehicles to the hard shoulder."
National Highways West Midlands confirmed that one of two lanes were closed on the eastbound stretch of the road, adding that ambulance crews were 'on the scene' to assess the occupants of the vehicles.
A statement on X at 7.55am said: "One lane (of two) is now closed on the M54 J3 to J2 eastbound due to the earlier collision.
"Ambulance crews are on scene assessing the occupants.
"Once this is complete, we will open the lane. Please still allow extra journey time."
West Midlands Ambulance Service said that one ambulance attended the scene, and on arrival they discovered the six-vehicles, with no injuries being reported.
An ambulance service spokesperson said: "We were called by Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service at 7.15am to reports of a multi vehicle RTC on the M54 between junctions 3 and 2, Coven.
"One ambulance attended. Thankfully there were no injuries."
