Motorway drivers facing congestion due to lane closure
Motorway drivers are facing long delays due to a lane closure and a broken down vehicle.
A broken down vehicle has closed a lane between Junctions 9 and 10 on the M6 northbound. Highways officers said there was congestion at around 9.30am.
Earlier this morning, heavy congestion was building on the M6 between Junction 4A and 5 due to resurfacing works.
Meanwhile, the M6 Junction 16 and 15 southbound, including Keele Motorway Services, will be closed overnight from Monday to Thursday next week for resurfacing work.
Diversions will be in place between 9pm and 6am.
