M6 motorway delays near Walsall and Wolverhampton
Drivers were caught in a rush hour jam on the M6 through the Black Country this morning.
Motorway cameras showed serious tailbacks on the motorway between Junctions 10 and 10A, near Walsall and Wolverhampton, between 8am and 9am.
The AA warned drivers to expect delays because of construction on the nearby A454.
Crashes have also been reported on nearby Heath Road and the B4464 Wolverhampton Road West, which may have contributed to delays for drivers accessing the motorway.
